The good thing about San Francisco is that you can see it from Oakland.
Oakland California is a great place with multi-racial inhabitants. It was really fun to wake up early one morning and shoot around downtown and uptown or near the Lake Merritt. It only takes less than twenty minutes from San Francisco downtown to the Oakland city center with BART but they are two different planets. It seems like Oakland or the East bay in general are more family oriented and more ethnic. It is unfortunately almost always referred to as a violent city but as one can imagine, this isn't what Oakland is all about. The food and Bar scene offers as much variety as its residents with often a nicer weather than its neighbor city of San Francisco. And a good amount of artists moved in the east bay area during the gentrification of San Francisco. I chose this song as I lived in West Oakland, where Raphael Saadiq grew up near Peralta and 8th
